How it works

A safety net behind the calls your operation can’t catch.

The first version is intentionally narrow. We validate the revenue leak before asking you to change the rest of your workflow.

01

Your team rings first

Office staff and on-call techs keep their normal workflow. LeadBackstop does not jump in front of them.

02

Missed callers are engaged

The system starts a fast follow-up and collects the service details needed to understand the request.

03

Your team gets the lead

Name, location, issue, and urgency are packaged into a clean notification your team can act on.

Why trust it

Built to earn trust before it asks for access.

We know a phone workflow touches customer relationships, operational data, and your reputation. That is why the pilot starts small and keeps its boundaries explicit.

Transparent

No fake traction

We will not pretend to have customers, recovered revenue, or case studies that do not exist.

Contained

No forced migration

The pilot is designed to sit behind unanswered calls rather than replace the number your market already knows.

Reversible

Easy to stop

The validation period is meant to answer one question: does this save worthwhile leads for your operation?

Narrow scope

No fake technician

LeadBackstop captures and routes information. It does not diagnose equipment, quote repairs, or promise outcomes.

Safety by design

Automation should know when to stop automating.

If a caller mentions a potential life-safety issue, the normal lead workflow should stop. The system is designed around clear boundaries, not around pretending software can replace professional judgment.

Examples of high-risk triggers

Gas smell · smoke · fire · sparks · carbon-monoxide alarm

01

Stop normal commercial qualification.

02

Direct the customer toward emergency services / utility guidance from a safe location.

03

Flag the lead as a critical safety event for the contractor.

No diagnosis · No repair instructions · No price promises

Phoenix validation cohort

Prove the workflow on your calls — before paying for it.

We are keeping the first cohort intentionally small so setup, feedback, and operational edge cases can be handled directly with the contractor.

  • 7-day validation window

FAQ

The questions we would ask before trusting a new vendor too.

If your question is not here, email mehmet@leadbackstop.com.

Do I need to change my main business number?

No. The pilot is designed around conditional forwarding or a similar backstop approach so your existing number remains the public number customers already know.

Is this meant to replace my dispatcher or answering service?

No. LeadBackstop starts with a narrower job: recover calls that your current operation did not answer. It can be tested alongside your current workflow.

Will it diagnose equipment or quote a repair?

No. The system is intentionally limited to collecting service-request information, urgency, and routing details.

What does the pilot cost?

The validation pilot is intended to be free. The purpose is to determine whether the workflow is useful before asking you to become a paying customer.

What happens to homeowner information?

We aim to collect only the service information needed to route the lead. The production stack and retention rules will be documented before any live pilot handles customer data.

Are you already a large software company?

No. LeadBackstop is an early-stage product being validated with independent HVAC contractors. We would rather say that plainly than manufacture social proof.

One question matters

Are unanswered calls costing your shop real jobs?

Let’s test that before building anything bigger.
